Mine works really well, I mainly use it for holidays to connect to the hotel or public WiFi at the airport or bars/restaurants, resorts, etc. The nice thing is if your hotel only allows one/ two devices etc, the keezel allows me to connect extra which has saved me a lot of money and hassle. At home in the U.K. I only tend to use it to link to a USA server to watch Augusta golf otherwise I have to pay SKY to watch it. My only concern is that it is bulky to carry around and you can’t have it turned on whilst in its case as it gets too hot especially in a hot country which is a shame, I would like to be able to protect it while at the beach, etc. All in all, does exactly what I purchased it for.
It was a nice idea on Indiegogo, but the product does not deliver. It is cumbersome to get to connect, even at home. Do not expect to have a secure connection in minutes think hours or days. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
Connectivity and speed are hit-and-miss. Some days, a connection is quickly established to an access point in a near-by city, and other days it takes a long time to connect. On the days that it takes a long time to connect, the connection is slow and not stable; i.e..., it times out, drops and disconnects for no apparent reason. When the connection is quickly established, connection speed is fair, not great; i.e..., you can watch a stream, but don't expect to do much more than that. This device is just a novelty item, for brief periods of entertainment. Don't expect to use it for work.
